Temples gig review (London)

Temples gig review
Date – 08/03/14
Bill – Temples with support from Childhood and Dark Bells.
Venue – o2 Academy Shepherds Bush. (8 out of 10 for the venue and 7 out of 10 for the sound quality)

First up are newcomers ‘Dark Bells’ who put on a good performance and get a decent response from the audience.
6 out of 10

Secondly are psych’ rockers ‘Childhood’ who play through their brilliant set and captivate the audience with a brilliant response and to my confusion the audience even opened up a small mosh pit to their mellow, captivating, psychedelic rock.
7 out of 10

Eventually Temples come up and play their headlining set to a packed crowed, opening with the single ‘Colours To Life’ and play through songs such as keep In The dark, A Question Isn’t Answered and Move With The Season.
The audience are dancing, singing along, and jumping for the whole set and it seemed like the band enjoyed every minute of it.
Brilliant set by a brilliant new band, I look forward to see more of them in the future.
7 out of 10.
